THE MERRY MONTH OF MAY/MABEL

Started this month with some great new dresses made with upcycled Star Wars fabric, they sold out almost immediately, however unlike the Marvel fabric it is a lot more difficult to get hold of
As ever My Sister Mabel makes another little unique range of dresses for girls, keeping in mind that they don't always want pink and butterflies, and so here are our  Subbuteo fabric dresses.

And new to the range are these customised kids sweatshirts all unique with a different fabric panel on the front. I'll also be making them in adult sizes very soon.

and a new upcycled "Route 66" fabric sleeveless dresses modelled beautifully by Mabel.

It was that time again already, for a much loved family tradition of cockle picking,(only to be picked in the months without an 'r' in them) With Mabel over her fear of crabs (thank goodness,) we had a good few hours out on the Salty, with bucket, rake and a football. We spent a good few hours raking until rain beat us and we returned to the car, wet, full of fresh air, with blistered hands and of course a few cockles.

The weather has generally been cold and wet but it has not stopped the production of some new shorts.

Another milestone May 5th, that has become known as 'Mabel Day'. This is the day, three years ago that we nearly lost our little Mabel when she suffered a sudden stroke.  We thank our lucky stars that she is with us today and our family is complete. This year we celebrated at The Bronx a great little new restaurant in Teignmouth.

Two days after that we were NOT celebrating the election result!!
