We spent bonfire night on the beach outside The Ship Inn watching the bonfire across the river on Shaldon beach, fireworks reflecting on the water, little fires along the beach, and the ferry taking people across the river, the girls had their sparklers and we had a drink...and one of those moments where you think we made the right decision moving here.
