A LITTLE BIT OF SUNSHINE

A few weeks ago we took a day trip to the beautiful Burgh Island in Bigbury On Sea in Devon.  Famous for it's beautiful Art Deco Hotel famous as a second home for Agatha Christie and Noel Coward and situated on a tidal island which can be reached by a sea tractor.  The reason for our trip was to meet up with a friend Steve who was now working on the island.  I first met Steve when I moved up to London and he was one of 5 people I shared a house with.  A few years later we went our separate ways and here we were meeting up 24 years later!!

Loving the sunshine, we've been going to the beach after school and at the weekends, great for the girls as there's always some one they know from school, and perfect to meet up at the Clipper Cafe after school drop off in the morning with Mums from school for coffee.
This has been the first proper Summer since we moved here five years ago and I'm really appreciating it!
