Second week of the half term Harry and I took off to Manchester for couple of days. What a great city, can't wait to go back. Great bars, restaurants, shopping and galleries.
One day when the girls are sorted, it is our intention to buck the trend and retire to a city, Manchester could be on the list, although I have a feeling it could be a warmer city somewhere!

This weeks makes included these flamingo dresses. I don't often use pink, but had to make an exception for flamingoes
Another new fabric this week - duck egg blue floral print, loved the colours, and the how it looked great with denim.
Back to upcycled, and this weeks headphone skirts
At the end of the week (on a rare sunny day) I took the girls to the Bovey Tracey Contemporary Craft Festival so inspiring with all the amazing talent, alongside a children's craft marquee (very happy Mabel) great food stalls, the smallest cinema in the country, and a Punch and Judy show - although in the new PC show there is no Judy!
Love this old illustration from the author Beverley Cleary, who among her many children's books, wrote a series about Ramona Quibley "the pest" reminds me so much of Mabel.
