INBETWEEN THE SHOWERS!

We've been trying to make the best of the very few sunny days in the last couple of weeks. One of the days was spent on our 'maiden voyage' in the new camper.
We didn't venture too far as we hadn't put the awning up before and if it didn't go to plan we could come home.  We set off up the road to Galmpton to a campsite overlooking the River Dart

The first hour of many trying to work it out in the sweltering heat.

Done it!

Another good weather day was spent out on the Salty on the river Teign collecting cockles. We managed to get three quarters of a bucket and the girls got a bucket of crabs, which we threw back (just in case you thought we ate them)

Saturday 11th was the Pop Up Vintage Market at Fleet Walk in Torquay, another hot day. Bella was at a party but unfortunately I had to bring Mabel with me. Armed with a bag of toys she did really well.

But these sunny days have really been few and far between and most of the time the house looks like this!
