It has been a very harrowing couple of weeks which began on 5th May, when little Mabel had a stroke. She was flown by helicopter from Torbay to the wonderful Frenchay Hospital in Bristol where she made a remarkable recovery in every way. We returned home briefly last weekend, and then returned to Bristol Children's Hospital where she underwent further tests to get to the root of the problem. She has been diagnosed with coarctation of the aorta and will be having a stent fitted in about six weeks. We are all feeling very relieved and very lucky!
