OLD INTO NEW

Lots of new makes since my last post over two weeks ago. The first is a new line which I'm now finally happy with.  It's a ladies sleeveless top, great with capri pants or jeans as well as a little pencil skirt worn on it's own or under a little cardigan I think it's going to be a good addition to the range.

I bought two fab new pieces of fabric from a lovely shop in Exeter and set about turning them from two pieces of fabric/curtains into some lovely new items.  The first was this brown and pink fabric, which made three girls dresses, a Missy Bag and a ladies top

The other was a piece of 60's psychedelic print fabric and managed to get just three little dresses

May 5th was not only May Day but also big day for us as a family, it was this date two years ago that  Mabel had a stroke. We decided that it would always be a family day, where we quietly do a lot of reflecting on how lucky we all are to be together,  we ended it with a trip to Pizza Express.

NEW RANGE - NEW LOGO

Blood sweat and (almost tears) I met my deadline for 28th February to launch my website along with a new and lovely logo designed by a graphic design friend Leah.  This season I have my usual oilcloth bags the Bella and the Mabel, I also have the new vintage fabric Missy Bag named after our cat and the huge Japanese style Betty Bag named after our Camper van!! We've now run out of females in our house so no more bags.......

I have the popular shift dress for ladies from last season, but also a new tunic dress and smock dress. Girls have a new Peter Pan collar dress, with sleeves and without and also the tops, there's a new square neck dress and the ever popular shift dress.  As always I've used a lot of recycled fabrics therefore they are limited and will change on a weekly basis, but just for good measure I've also started using some new.
